Trust in the Lord Part 4

Proverbs 3:5-7

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.”

How can we learn to trust God?

1. Know that He is there
2. Know that He cares
3. Know that He is faithful
4. Know that He keeps His promises
5. Know that His way is best

God is always faithful

1. God has never failed to keep His word
2. God’s words of warning never fail either
3. We can still count on God’s promises

Trust God’s plan of salvation

1. Hear the Gospel (Romans 10:17)
2. Believe (Acts 18:8)
3. Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30)
4. Confess your faith (Romans 10:10)
5. Be baptized (Acts 2:38)
6. Be faithful to the end (Revelation 2:10)
