Israel’s Unfaithfulness

Psalm 106

This psalm recounts Israel’s history of rebellion and faithlessness in contrast to God’s enduring faithfulness and mercy.

It acknowledges Israel’s sins from Egypt to the promised land.

Despite Israel’s ingratitude and rebellion, God still delivered them for the sake of His name and covenant.

Psalm 106:1-5

It opens with a call to praise God for His steadfast love, while asking for restoration and salvation for Israel.
