What to Expect During Worship

Our services are simple, reverent, and patterned after the New Testament. You won’t find a light show or a professional band, just a sincere group of people praising God.

A Cappella Singing: We sing without the use of instruments, following the scriptural example of the early church.

Prayer: Several times during our service, men in the congregation will lead us in prayer. These are sincere, heartfelt communications with God on behalf of the church family.

The Lord’s Supper: We observe communion every Sunday to remember the death of Jesus.

Bible Teaching: You will hear a practical, 25–30 minute lesson rooted entirely in the scriptures.

Giving: Our members contribute to the work of the church each Sunday. As our guest, you are not expected or pressured to give.

You will see a variety of styles at West Main, from “business casual” to informal.

What about my children?

We love families. We provide Bible classes for all ages where your children can learn the scriptures in a safe, encouraging environment.

Will I be singled out?

Absolutely not. We will not ask you to stand up, speak, or identify yourself. You can observe the service at your own pace.
